Profhilo®

Profhilo® is indicated for tissue bio-remodelling and improvement in skin laxity (face, neck and body), it was first launched in 2015, it's unique aspect lies in its formulation of 64 mg/2 ml (32 mg high and 32 mg low molecular weight) ultrapure HA (Hyaluronic Acid) in compliance with European and FDA standards, which is thermally stabilised and no chemical cross-linking agents (BDDA) are used. This biophysical profile gives its high ability to flow from an injection point and to evenly fill out anatomic units. Profhilo® is injected using its specific BAP (Bio Aesthetic Points) Technique.

Recommended is a course of 2 treatments with a 4 week interval, in very rare cases a third treatment may be indicated

8 weeks after the second treatment.

Longevity is up to 6 months (patient dependent), only one treatment is needed to maintain the results.

Procedure time : up to 45 minutes

Results : can be immediate, it usually takes up to 4 weeks to settle for visible results

Some potential side effects:

possible bruising/swelling for a few days as after any injectable treatment

Pre-treatment advice :

- Avoid if possible taking any OTC painkiller like Aspirin/Ibuprofen, Alcohol or other blood thinning supplements (Fish Oils, St.

John's Wort, Vitamins A/E) 48 hours prior to your appointment as these might increase the risk of bruising

- For your treatment arrive with no make-up

- You should arrive well hydrated

- You should not have had any other aesthetic / dental treatments within 2 weeks prior to your appointment.

Post treatment instructions:

- Avoid massage or put pressure on injected areas for 24 hours

- Avoid any heat i.e. hot showers/baths/sauna/steam/sun exposure/excessive exercises until redness and any swelling has

resolved

- No alcohol for 48 hours post treatment

- Do not get any other aesthetic / dental treatments for at least 14 days after your treatment.

Profhilo® Structura
