Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that primarily affects the central face and may present with persistent redness, flushing, and visible blood vessels.

In selected cases, intradermal micro-doses of botulinum toxin type A (BTX/A) may help reduce facial flushing and background redness by modulating neurovascular signalling and reducing excessive vasodilation.

This technique is often referred to as “MicroTox” and differs from traditional muscle-targeted BTX/A treatments.

Like all BTX/A treatments, the effects are temporary.
