Radiesse®, developed by German manufacturer Merz Aesthetics, is an advanced biostimulator that helps your skin regenerate from within by stimulating natural collagen and elastin production.

  • Composed of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres in a biocompatible gel
  • Treats facial volume loss, deep lines, and ageing hands
  • Offers immediate volume plus long-term skin regeneration
  • Delivers natural-looking results that evolve gradually — not an overfilled appearance

How Radiesse® Works

Radiesse® has a unique dual-action mechanism:

- Immediate Volume Effect

  • The gel carrier (carboxymethylcellulose) provides instant structure and lift
  • Smooths wrinkles and restores facial or hand contours right after injection

- Biostimulation Phase

  • The CaHA microspheres stimulate your body to produce new collagen (neocollagenesis)
  • Triggers natural regeneration within the skin's deeper layers

- Collagen Remodelling (over the following weeks and months):

  • The gel carrier is slowly absorbed
  • Types I and III collagen are synthesised
  • Skin becomes firmer, denser, and more elastic
